This patient came to us through a referral from her existing GDP after repeat episodes of severe pain. After stage 1, we wanted to be sure that there were only 2 canals, and that the mesials were fused. With help from a CBCT, we confirmed this before we obturated on the following visit. Note: CBCTs through metal work can be hard to interpret due to scatter. Advice is always try and remove restorative work if possible prior to CBCT. The GDP asked us to access through the abutment in this case.
