This was a joint case with Dr Marques where we decided that re-treating the 6 was advisable as we were replacing the congenitally missing 5 with a dental implant. We wanted to minimise the risk of infection in the area going forward. We re-retreated with reciprocating files and place a temporary crown. We plan on removing the 7 due to unrestorable caries, replace with an implant and drop the distal crown margin on the 6 when a permanent crown is made.
